| 1) Bamboo stems are cut into long,
narrow strips, and stripped of their natural bark;
2) the strips are run through a sander to create
a smooth surface;
3) the strips are then naturally dried to several
weeks;
4) next, the strips are boiled to in water to
give the Bamboo its beautiful natural and coffee
color;
5) next, the strips are glued and pressed together
(laminated).The lamination process is done in
two different ways, aligning the strips horizontally
creates a beautiful wide strip effect, while aligning
the strips vertically give us a unique narrow
stripped look;
6) then the boards are kiln dried to optimal
moisture levels for the production of bamboo Vega
flooring;
7) the Bamboo boards are then run through an
end matcher, thus creating tongue and groove bamboo
flooring;
8) next, the UV finish is applied to the boards;
9) then, the Vega Bamboo flooring is checked
for quality to insure superior grade material;
10) Finally, the Vega Bamboo flooring is packaged
and prepared for shipment. |
